It has been a while since the last update—roughly two to three months—and there has not been a great deal happening with the Datsun lately.
One of the more recent additions, however, was the installation of a new audio system. The current setup consists of a Sony CDX-MP40 head unit, Sony 2002GTW speakers, and a 12-inch Sony subwoofer. The system gives the car a much-needed upgrade while still keeping the period-correct feel of the vehicle.
At a later point, I plan to replace the rear speakers with a set of 6.5-inch Sony cone speakers. For now, the existing system is working well, and the Datsun remains largely unchanged mechanically.
